The Anglo-Austrian Society actively promotes social and cultural exchange, and dialogue between the United Kingdom and Austria. Our aim is to strengthen Austro-British relations in all aspects of public and cultural life. We are an independent registered charity formed of people from all backgrounds. The Society enjoys the active support of the governments of both Austria and the United Kingdom. The Anglo-Austrian Society was originally founded in 1944 in London.
Cultural Weekends in Beautiful Places. Also organises visits abroad on a variety of musical themes. There have been visits to Prague, Budapest, Berlin, Vienna, Nuremburg Leipzig, Dresden, Lahti and the Somme among other places.
